Unity ministries are implementing the education and resources of the PROvision Network platform for “what to do when someone dies.”
Denver, Colo., August 2012. The PROvision Network—a provider of Web-based solutions for planning, preparing and then managing the loss of a loved one—announces a strategic partnership with Unity Worldwide Ministries. Over 50 Unity ministers nationwide are slated to register for the program.
“Unity ministers can play a key role in simplifying the lives of congregants—all of whom will face the transitioning of a loved one,” says Kristen Preud’homme, director of communications. “With the addition of the My Estate Manager Web resource, Unity ministers can now support their members in ways previously not possible.” My Estate Manager provides planning for the inevitable and sometimes unexpected passing of a loved one. It also assists in preparing once a terminal condition is known and then managing the aftermath. These are just a few of the benefits that spiritual community members receive.
“Now church leaders have the tools necessary to support their congregants at a crucial time in everyone’s life. The program also educates and engages church members in related topics such as creating a legacy and charitable giving,” said Hank Carabelli, co-founder of The PROvision Network.
“Integrating estate administration and educational planning into the Web services that our ministries provide gives our ministers and their congregations an education platform and program to make the most informed decisions for their families,” said Kristen. “We are honored to engage in this strategic partnership.”
“We are committed to providing Unity communities and their congregations with innovative solutions that meet their needs,” continued Carabelli. “More than two million families will lose a loved one this year. Over 20 million people will be directly impacted by the death or imminent death of a friend or family member. Our platform is based on in-depth research with over 1,100 families who’ve lost a loved one. Many of these people will turn to their church family for direction and resources, but church leaders are busy and their expertise in this area is limited. This is where our platform can help.”
