I know you.
Your mind is constantly full of ideas and inspirations. They especially like to visit you, sometimes overwhelming you, during long drives in your car and on plane flights. They even awaken you in the middle of the night.
At times you have found yourself to be a voracious reader. And other times the inspiration of words has poured through you so rapidly that it has been nearly impossible for you to stop writing or to keep up with the flow.
I know you because I know me and tens of thousands like us whom I have had the pleasure of working with who also have been nudged forward by the same symptoms.
What does this all mean, though?
It means that you have a book or books stuck in you trying to get out. Yes, despite all of the objections to that boisterous claim that you may have, it’s the truth! Even The New York Times in a 2002 article boldly claimed that 81% of Americans, when reduced to their most honest/truthful selves, consciously admitted that they felt as if they had “a book stuck inside of them that they had to get out.”
If you’ve read this far, you are either one of those 81% or you know someone who is. Why else would you have endured reading this far if that were not the case?
How do I know this to be true about you?
Because I am a self-admitted member of that divine fraternity as well. I have devoted the last thirty-two years of my life to guiding others—just like you—through the releasing of their most divine of all messages, their soul voices, through the birthing of their books. During that time, I have had twenty-nine of my own books published.
When one gives into and follows through on the birthing process that I have been led to share, lives change, wounds are healed, and inspirations released—even enlightenment has been reached. This is probably why Aristotle claimed that to live a complete life, everyone needed to write a book. After witnessing the results I have, I have to strongly concur.
How could what The Times claims, that we have books “stuck inside of us that we have to get out,” and what I have experienced in my work with over 80,000 would-be authors be true?
The whys and wherefores of how our books “came” to us don’t matter. All that matters is that we accept this divine communion being offered by Source. Believe me, your book(s) will not let up on you until you do.
It’s a New Publishing World
Let me state very clearly, right here and right now, that because of a variety of factors, book publishing has morphed into a whole new industry, which, for the first time in literary history, greatly benefits the author. Because of these innovations and evolutions in the industry, books can be published and authors can become best sellers in literally weeks after the completion of their books. In addition, authors are able to earn oftentimes as much as 5-10 times the amount previously earned through book sales. This offers them the opportunity they deserve for financial independence and wealth derived from their writing.
How Is This Done?
Let the words flow. When connected directly with Source, anything is possible, including the writing of a full-length, adult book in a weekend. Assisting people in writing is my ministry, and has been for the last thirty-two years. It is a process I have been sharing openly and honestly through over 4600 lectures at colleges and universities nationwide and through hundreds of retreats. I merely lead attendees back to their direct connections with Source through the writing of their books. Quite simply, Source does the rest.
Editor’s note: Tom Bird, author and lecturer, will be sharing two workshops on June 11, 2015 at the Unity People’s Convention. The classes are entitled How to Write Your Best Seller in a Weekend and The New Age of Publishing. All of those in attendance at either lecture will receive a complimentary advance copy of his soon-to-be-released book Write/Right from God.
