On July 21, 2016 Unity Worldwide Ministries hosted a web call on the subject of using Twitter for ministry. The call was hosted by Rev Jacquie Lenati, media production coordinator.

You can view an audio/video recording of the call here.

Why Tweet?

Every second, an average of 6,000 tweets are tweeted on Twitter. This is an excellent social media platform to connect with your online community, provide information about your ministry, and raise awareness about your ministry activities and the Unity movement as a whole.

In the call, we cover the 5 basic types of tweets and Twitter vocabulary. There was also time given for Q&A, which you will find informative. If you have not already done so, you may consider joining the Facebook group Connecting via Social Media SEMINAR. This is a great place to connect with Unity leaders about social media skills and utility.

This project was made possible by the support of a grant from the John Templeton Foundation. The opinions expressed in the project are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the John Templeton Foundation.
